Curriculum
We teach the Alberta Program of Studies — the same outcomes required of every accredited school in the province — using the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) PACE curriculum as our delivery method. PACEs are workbooks broken into 12 units per subject per grade, allowing each student to move at their own pace within teacher-led supervision.
Every subject is taught from a biblical worldview. Bible is a required subject at every grade level, memorisation is expected, and daily chapel gathers the whole school together at 8:45. The Alberta Programs of Study are supplemented where the ACE curriculum needs augmenting — most notably in the senior sciences and Social Studies 30.
Grade 12 students write the same Alberta diploma exams as every other student in the province and graduate with the standard Alberta High School Diploma.
On the Bible as a subject
We do not think Bible class is where children learn about God and the other classes are where they learn about the real world. God made the real world. So arithmetic, and writing, and biology, are Bible class too — just quieter.
